We recently celebrated all that God has done to shine His light in our community through the ministries of New Life Community Church (now The ROC Church) and Reaching Our City.
The festivities began with a Compassion Conference hosted at our ministry center in partnership with Southen Nazarene University. Dr. Ron Benefiel, President of Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, was our keynote speaker and other professors, students and pastors presented papers on various topics. Dr. Benefiel spoke in Chapel at SNU in Herrick Auditorium on Wednesday.
Sunday, April 26th, we had a powerful celebration service starting at 10am. Many gathered to worship and reflect on all the Kingdom things God has accomplished through this ministry. Dr. Benefiel brought a meaningful message and we concluded with a lunch reception at Greenvale Elementary - just around the corner where we held our first worship services. We can't wait to experience what God will do over the next ten years!
